Crooked teeth?
tonsssssss of people have to get teeth pulled...dont worry, it will all end up working out in the end!

and after you go thru your whole thing with braces you will HAVE to get a retainer...theres no option unfortunatly. and what the purpose of the retainer is, is to heal the roots of your teeth which have been shifted around so much...so the retainer keeps them in place for the bone to reheal its self

i have heard %26#039;horror%26#039; stories of people who dont wear theirnretainer regularily and they have to get braces again, but when teh time comes just make sure you wear it exactly how your ortho tells you to

at the beginning youll wear it all day long then after a while only at night...and then theyll tell you %26quot;pop it in once a week just to make sure everything stays the way it is%26quot; your ortho will alsways let you know what to do next, with braces and retainers. just follow his/her instructions cause they are the expert!!

honestly, braces suck. some people dont mind them as much as others but they do suck...but once youre finished you will have absolutly perfect teeth!!!
Reply:my daughter had this treatment when she was 13 she is now 26 and has the most beautiful smile set of by the most beautiful set of straight teeth ,so do as the orthodontist tells you and be brave and the results will i am sure be stunning, best wishes .
Reply:I%26#039;m sure of that it will be in place in no time with beutiful teeth
Reply:I had a brace for 3 years. I have had seven teeth out in total and this was vital, as the whole reason I had to have braces was because my mouth was too small.

After treatment teeth will go back to the position they were in before. This is why you will be given a retainer that you will need to wear now and agin to stop this from happening.

As long as you keep up the retainer, your teeth will stay lovely and straight!

(If you are having train tracks my best advice is brush your teeth really well because after they are taken off, you may get marks on your teeth where plaque has discoloured them! Not very attractive.)
Reply:Braces aren%26#039;t magic. Whether you need the teeth pulled depends on your teeth. Get a second opinion from another orthodonist if you%26#039;re uncertain. Taking care of your teeth is a lifetime commitment. Don%26#039;t do yourself a disservice by investing your money in things that won%26#039;t have near the impact on your life as the cost of your own personal hygiene.

They%26#039;re a lot of dateless, toothless people driving nice cars and eating poorly.
Reply:I%26#039;m sorry to hear about this. I had orthodontic treatment but luckily I never needed any teeth out.

It%26#039;s not true that your teeth go back to exactly how they were. They do start to revert, but they don%26#039;t go all the way. This will only happen if you don%26#039;t wear the retainer though.

That%26#039;s what happened to me and I regret it a lot, so I%26#039;d strongly advise you to wear it when they tell you!
Reply:go for it your teeth will look lovely in a few years.youll have nicer teeth than all your mates
Reply:Yes , the teeth can go back to their old postition, but thats why after having the braces off, you must wear a retainer.
Reply:It is very common to have teeth removed for Orthodontic treatment . The reason is to get space to re-align your crooked teeth.

After treatment is complete, a temporary or some times permanent retainer must be used to stabilise your teeth.

Make sure you go to a certified Orthodontist.
