Do people really notice crooked teeth?

I have my eye teeth still!

Do people really notice crooked teeth?
Some people notice, some don't. I personally don't think anything of crooked teeth. You can't do anything to stop your teeth from being crooked except going and getting braces, but when someone has rotten teeth, I really notice that and look down on it. You can't prevent crooked teeth, but you can prevent rotten ones. My mom used to have an eye tooth, she called it a troll tooth. No one ever thought poorly of her for having it. If you're a nice person with a good personality, that matters way more than how straight or white your teeth are. If someone is going to judge you for something as stupid as the straightness of your teeth, forget them.

Reply:Depends on how crooked they are. If they're not too crooked then it's not noticable. Look at Jewel, the singer. She has all the money and means to get her teeth fixed, but she doesn't and she's still very attractive.
Reply:CROOKED TEETH IS A SUBJECTIVE OPINION. FOR EXAMPLE, HERE IN THE USA WITH ALL THE GLAMOROUS PEOPLE ON TV WITH BEAUTIFUL SMILES, WE EASILY NOTICE IMPERFECTIONS AMONG THOSE WE SEE. IN OTHER COUNTRIES,THEY DON'T REALLY CARE.
Reply:Yes people do notice. Most of your friends wont think anything of it or love you less for it but they will always think in the back of their mind "she has bad teeth". Save up some $$ and get braces
Reply:My eye teeth were really out of place, and my bf claimed he didnt understand why I got braces. I guess some people dont notice, but i think lots do.
Reply:I notice everything about teeth: if they are yellow, crooked, or bad smelling, etc. To me teeth are so important!!... They tell people about your hygiene, education, nutrition, grooming. You may call me obssessive, but I go to the dentist regularly, and since my Mom was just as obssessive as I am, I have all my teeth at age 46. If I see a really cute guy, but has unkempt or bad teeth, my attraction for him goes suddenly dead. That, and dirty hair. (Yak!!!)
