No it's not late! Dental office's have many type of brace's go to the Dentist and see what they recommend.
Reply:its never 2 late.... i know sum1 whos 40 and has just got braces.
Reply:No. Even adults can get them.
Reply:no .... im 29 and I have them,
its never too late but do it now rather than spend years wishing you had .
Reply:Don't get braces right now. my teacher had braces and it ruined her high school photo.
Reply:It's never to late to have braces. I personally know people in their 40's and older that had braces. 17 is still a common age to start as most kids at least need all permenent teeth before starting orthodontics. No worries straight teeth are in your future. GOOD LUCK!
Reply:You're not old at all! I didn't get them til I was 26, and I'm so glad I did because even though it hurt like the dickens, I am so confident now that my teeth are perfect!
Reply:I recommend invisalign... check out invisalign.com They are removable clear trays that you change out every two weeks until you teeth are straight. The number of trays depends on the complexity of the case.
Reply:It's never too late to get braces. I'm 47 and I just got braces 8 days ago. There a a lot of adults in braces. Just go for it!!!
Reply:Its never too late to get braces, unless your already on dentures :). Go for it. Usually After your teens, if you don not have your wisdom teeth pulled they tend to push the rest of your teeth out of place, making them crooked. So, its natural for many of our teeth to crowd, and its better to get them at 17 than 40. A few years while in High School of College with braces seems to be more accepted than when your older. Just be aware of the costs. Fix them early to prevent infection or if they're not really bad. Leave your mouth alone.
Reply:no its not too late
